We created this beautiful and subtle tasting jam on the occasion of the ‘Eat’ project, a project about excellent food organised by the Agrarian Istitute Ciuffelli in Todi. For this extra confiture we combined our own Williams pears and saffron with an heirloom pear varity Sementina, grown in at the Ciuffelli Institute’s orchards.
Eat pear & saffron extra confiture pairs well with fresh cheeses or cheeses that are not too matured.
